A new Gold Star Families Memorial Monument (GSFMM) honoring the families of servicemen and women who sacrificed their lives while serving in the military is currently being planned in Princeton Texas.

VFW Post 9167 of Princeton, Texas exists to serve veterans, honor the fallen, support their families, foster patriotism, and defend the freedoms secured by our service to the United States of America.
 
As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.

The mission of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9167 of Princeton, Texas is to operate as a fraternal, patriotic, historical, charitable, and educational organization dedicated to preserving and strengthening the bonds of comradeship among veterans who have served our nation.


We are committed to assisting worthy comrades, honoring and perpetuating the memory and history of those who have gone before us, and supporting the widows and orphans of our fallen. We maintain true allegiance to the Government of the United States of America and fidelity to its Constitution and laws.


Through service to our members, our community, and future generations, VFW Post 9167 fosters true patriotism, upholds and extends the institutions of American freedom, and stands ready to preserve and defend the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
