Jason joined the United States Navy in July of 1999 as an Engineer where he was stationed aboard the USS Boxer (LHD-4) from October 1999 – December 2002. From there he was deployed when the attacks of 9/11 happened and then re-deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Jason then went to Submarine School in Groton CT after which he was stationed aboard the USS Helena (SSN-725) as a Torpedoman from October 2003 – March 2006 and made numerous deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Jason finished his tour at the Weapons Depot on Naval Base Point Loma in San Diego, CA until his discharge in July 2009. Jason currently serves as an Ambassador for Carry The Load to help others and bring back the true meaning of Memorial Day.
